6 Fall/Winter Essentials

6. Moccasins
If moccasins aren't one of your essentials for the fall and winter then I'd definitely recommend including them into your daily style. Moccasins have been my obsession since last year. They're easy to throw on with any outfit. They're comfy and warm while still looking like they're not so much like slippers. If you're looking for a great quality pair that keep your toes warm, I suggest the brand Minnetonka. They last a long time and don't break the bank. Once you've tried them you'll wonder why you never had them in you wardrobe before!

5. Ankle Boots
Not only are they a hot trend right now but they are my preferred choice of shoe over riding boots. Although riding boots are super stylish, they aren't an essential to me because I'm short so they're hard to pull of without making me look shorter than I am. Ankle boots make your legs look miles long and aren't so heavy like riding boots

4. Sweaters/Cardigans
Of course what would  be a fall/winter season without a chunky knit sweater or cardigan. They're perfect for layering and keep you warm and cozy while still looking fab. Not much explaining necessary as to why this is an essential!

3. Motorcycle Jacket
Who doesn't love a great motorcycle jacket? It's the perfect piece to throw over a simple outfit. Fall and winter is all about comfy and stylish and what better way to enforce that by wearing a plain white tee and leggings and making it look like you've tried by throwing on a stunner motorcycle
jacket. Once you buy one you'll never stop wearing it I can promise you that!

2. Leggings
Okay, is there even a question as to why this would be on the countdown? I know everyone can agree that they would not survive the cold seasons without wearing leggings. They're a great layering piece and emphasize comfort. No further explanation needed.

1. Scarves
I don't know what I'd do without my pile of scarves in my closet. Since fall and winter consist of leggings and sweaters, two simple and plain pieces, there has to be that one thing that brings the outfit together and adds the texture, print or color to the look and the scarf does just that!

So there you have it. If you were to wear all of these items (picking one shoe of course) you would have the ideal fall and winter outfit!

Slashed

There's no doubt that fall and winter is everyone's favorite time of year because its sweater weather season. There's nothing better than throwing on a sweater, leggings and moccasins and still looking fabulous! This is by far my favorite sweater in my closet because the cuts in the arms of the sweater adds an edge and the necklace brings it up to a whole new level. It's all you could ever want in an outfit. It's cute, casual and takes no effort to put together.

Ridin'

I've been patientily waiting for the moment the weather got colder so I can throw on some boots! This is the classic fall/winter outfit for me because it's cozy and cute which is all that this season is about. The riding boots go perfectly with this taupe snake skin printed scarf and the zippers on the leggings secretly contributes to the minor details and the thick plum cardigan adds some color to a neutral outfit.

The Leather Army

What better way to celebrate the fall season than with gorgeous warm tone colors? The combination of the army color with a motorcycle style and faux leather sleeves has all of my favorite trends all in one item! Topped off with studded loafers and a simple necklace and this outfit is perfect for any fall outing.

Statement

It feels like forever since I posted on my blog! I miss it so much. I love coming on here and looking at all my outfits. There's something about it that makes me proud. Life's been so crazy lately and it's so easy to get wrapped up in the things that shouldn't matter. It's nice to get to look at something that makes you happy. Words can't describe how much I love this outfit. So stylish and the statement necklace makes the outfit while the studded loafers add that extra touch. Jewelry is definitely the best accessory.

Stressed But Well-Dressed

This week has been so busy and I finally have a day with nothing to do so I've taken this precious time to blog! Today, I'm showing that although you may be very busy, it doesn't give an excuse to not look your best. It may seem impossible to look presentable and do it within 5 minutes but it's quite simple. All you need is a piece that does all the talking and doesn't need the support of any accessories (I go into examples of these in an earlier post). The tops above are a couple of my favorite throw-on pieces I wear when I have no time to put an outfit together. They're cute and fashionable and speak for themselves so all I had to do was throw on jeans and that's it!

Oxblood

Today's outfit incorporates all the best fall time trends I'm obssessed with. First of all, these oxblood colored pants...#icant LOL. But seriously, I love them because I think they're an essential piece for a fall wordrobe because of their color and function. You could make them the focal point of the outfit or just a something to complement another piece. The colored shirt is a top I love which is odd becuase I never really liked collared shirts like these until I came across this one. I think the top with the pants is a great combo and the cheetah flats (another big trend for fall) just adds another hint of detail.
