Three Different Styles: A Round-Up

These are a few outfits I wore over the past couple of weeks. They all have a different feel to them which shows how diverse my style can be. The first outfit is sort of grungy while the second one is more preppy with this jacket that reminds me so much of vintage Chanel, and the third is more of a boho casual look with this awesome body chain (body chains are a unique way to spice up any outfit!). I've been loving flannels because they are the perfect 'weekend wear' as I like to say because they are comfortable and easy to wear. I also got this watch and bracelet for Christmas which has initiated my watch obsession (this obsession can get really expensive really fast haha). On the other hand, I'm obssessed with this jacket. When I tried it on, I instantly got the 'wow' factor. Items like these are hard to come by so I knew I couldn't leave without it!

3 Easy & Inexpensive Ways for a Dramatic Transformation

Nowadays, there just isn't enough time to plan a whole outfit. Most of us throw on the nearest pair of sweatpants and t-shirt and head out but there a several ways to quickly get dressed and still look stylish.

Jackets
A nice jacket is perfect to quickly throw on and look fashionable. You could just be wearing a simple tee and it will instantly dress up any look. My favorite style is motorcycle jackets. It's a timeless style and is perfect for any occasion. Some jackets are super expensive but you can easily find some nice ones for under $30. This black one has great detail and looks way more expensive than the $25 that I paid for it.

Scarves
Scarves are a great way to add color, texture, and pattern to any outfit. They're also really cozy which is perfect for days you just want to be comfortable and warm. Scarves are also very cheap!

Jewelry
Jewelry is my favorite way to spice up any outfit. Whether it's a dramatic statement necklace or a simple layered one, it adds a nice touch and brings your outfit to the next level. Forever 21 is my go-to destination for all things jewelry because they have a great selection for a great price-most jewelry pieces are under $15; a great price for a big transformation.

Looking fashionable doesn't cost as much money and require as much effort as people think and these are a few examples of how that is true. Accessories are the best way to look fashionable because they are very inexpensive but add major effect to the outfit. You're entire wardrobe can be v-necks and leggings but it won't look that simple once you add a chunky scarf or necklace!

Print, Texture, & Comfort

Outfit #1: I just bought this top from Forever 21 and I'm in love! Lately, I've been so impressed with their items because they look so high fashion and are decent quality for such a great price. I could not stop taking pictures and looking at this top in the mirror because I'm crazy about it.

Outfit #2: I've been searching for the perfect flannel for a while but it's been difficult. The ones I found were either an ugly print, ugly colors or I liked it but it was expensive! I love finding good deals and I will not settle until I find them and I finally did. This flannel was everything I was searching for; the colors are perfect and it's loose but fitted at the same time. I love how versatile it is too because I can wear it dressed up with a statement necklace or wear it open with a tank top underneath. Best part about it: only $16 as opposed to the $36 I almost spent at PacSun!

Outfit #3: I wore this to go Christmas shopping and I was so comfortable. I've been trying to buy more lounge wear because I literally haven't bought some new sweatpants or hoodies since middle school. I love this hoodie because it's comfortable but stylish which are too important things to have in comfy clothes!

That's the Moto: A Round-Up

Anything with a motorcycle style is my weakness. Whenever I see something with this style, I must buy it. Currently, I have 3 jackets and a sweater! The reason I love them so much is because they really fit any style. I always like to switch between styles so no matter what I want to wear, a motorcycle jacket fits that style perfectly. Whether it's grungy, girly, or edgy, it always looks great. What's also great about motorcycle jackets is that it's the perfect go-to piece because you can throw it over anything and it instantly dresses up the look. You could be wearing leggings and a plain v-neck but throw on a motorcycle jacket and you'll go from 0-100 real quick. (I don't know why I keep referencing Drake songs today haha). With that said, Motorcycle jackets are a must have in anyone's wardrobe because of its versatility!

Outfit #1 was what I wore on thanksgiving. It was comfortable yet very dressy! That's always important when you're stuffing your face with food.

Outfit #2 was also comfortable yet dressy. I love this top because you don't have to do much styling to it. It has a beaded neckline so you don't need a necklace. I paired it with my favorite leather jacket to add more color to the outfit and wore one of my favorite pair of shoes at the moment. I've been looking for simple, yet stylish shoes to wear for outfits that are pretty casual and these fit that criteria! The look of them is very casual but the texture is of snake skin (faux) so they are still stylish! The perfect casual shoe!

Preppy & Edgy: A Round-Up

Since my weeks are so busy, it's difficult for me to post consistently on my blog. Taking pictures, editing, and posting takes at least an hour and a half to do. However, I still want to post as much as I can. With that said, I came up with the idea of doing weekly round-ups. I take a quick picture of what I wore to post on ehmoda101's Instagram account, so I figured that whatever pictures I take for that, I can compile them and put into one blog post. It saves me so much more time and I can post more outfits! Some weekly round-ups will be composed of more outfits than others but the important thing is that I can still post on my blog more often without going weeks without posting anything!

The first outfit is something new for me and it took me hours of standing in front of the mirror, debating on whether I liked it or not. But, one day I just went for it and I'm so happy I did because I love it!

The second outfit is so different from the adorable, preppy outfit before it. That just goes to show how diverse I am with my style-I like it all! I love how chill but chic this outfit is. It's perfect for running errands or a casual day at school.

The Fail of the Century

So, I'm embarrassed to admit it, but only a few minutes into taking pictures for this blog posts, I put my bag down on the deck and the chain slid through the crack! It's stuck and it won't come out. By trying to take it out, I only made it worse. The bag is still stuck in the deck as I type. Anyway, This outfit screams fall. The pants are two-toned; they have a faux leather front and a velvet back which is so unique. I paired it with a top that has a faux leather black trim and I layered gold necklaces which I love together. Then, I wore leopard printed flats to add something different to the outfit. It's outfits like these that make me love the fall time!

Leather Is All You Need

The past few weeks have been so hectic. Between work, school, college applications, and stupid drama, I've barely had the time to breath! But, no matter how busy I get, I still manage to keep my outfits on point! One of my favorite outfits I wore during the crazy weeks was this one. I'm obsessed with anything that has leather detailing so a faux leather cap sleeve top is a winner. Leather dresses anything up. Then, to keep it comfy, I wore leggings and my go-to flats for the fall with one of my favorite bags and a classy necklace.
PS: My top is from Ann Taylor which sounds like an old lady store, but their clothes are so my style. It's edgy and chic! I also miss my long hair :(((
